Core Values

Worship. Learn. Love. Witness.

Our mission is to know, love and follow Jesus, witnessing to the Good News that God is reconciling all of creation to himself through Christ.

We are called to be a worshipping community…
Romans 12:1 – 21; Psalm 29:1 – 2; Ephesians 5:19 – 20; 2 Chronicles 7:14

  • We gather in worship corporately to praise, to pray, to repent and to be transformed by Word and Spirit.

  • We are a multi-congregational church offering varied expressions of worship as a means of responding to the self-revelation of our triune God.

  • Our worship continues beyond the walls of the church as we are individually sent out to faithfully follow Jesus using our Spirit-given gifts and resources in witness and service.

We are called to be a learning community…
Ephesians 4: 1 – 13; 2 Timothy 1:5 – 7; 3:16; Deuteronomy 6:4 – 9; Psalm 145: 4 – 7

  • We are disciples on a life-long faith journey in the caring companionship of fellow believers who are being formed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

  • We are a growing community united inter-generationally through Bible study, prayer and  worship, being equipped for witness and service.

  • We teach and preach from an evangelical Anabaptist perspective and affirm the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith.

We are called to be a loving community…
John 13:13 – 15; Galatians 6:2; Ephesians 4:25 – 5:2; I John 4:19 – 21;

  • We strive to be an inclusive community that welcomes all who are seeking to know, love and follow Jesus.

  • We care for one another in practical ways demonstrating God’s love.

  • We forgive one another and speak the truth in love.

We are called to be a witnessing community…
Matthew 28:18 – 20; John 14:6; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15 – 16; 2 Corinthians 5:17 – 20

  • We are witnesses in word and deed to Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

  • We empower and release people to use their Spirit-given gifts in ministry. As recipients of God’s love we serve others in love.

  • Our ministries and outreach initiatives, locally and globally, meet human needs and provide the opportunity for us to be agents of God’s reconciling grace.
